Due to an infection in the backbone, drummer "Man" has to take a break for rehabilitation in the next few months. There will be "Bobby B. Bastard" on drums and "Alex De Court" on bass for the upcoming 2 festivals. After 3 weeks in hospital "Man" is on the mend and feeling better now. We wish him all the best for recovery and are looking forward to be back on stage with him soon! |

The first dates for 2008 are confirmed now, we will be back on stage in June 08! Mastic Scum will appear live at "Summer Nights Festival" as headliner on 2nd stage, also "Rocky Mountain Festival", "Way Of Darkness Festival" and some other cool festivals are confirmed. There are just a few live dates planned for 2008 as we will concentrate on our new album.

We already started with the pre-production of the new album. We are working on 15 tracks right now and plan to take 13 tracks on our upcoming album. Our friend & ex-member "Linga" (Moser Christian) died by car accident on tuesday 01.01.2008. We are all very shocked about his tragic death! Linga was founder member of Mastic Scum in 1992 and formed his own band G.F.P.M. in 1996. A good friend and great musician has gone. Linga, you are still with us! R.I.P. read more |

Beside of working on our upcoming album we recorded a new track for the "EM-08" Sampler! The track is entitled "Adrenaline" and was recorded 16.11.2007 at "Fast Forward Studios" in Vienna! We are currently working on our new album! Lot of songwriting is already done, but we are still preparing some new stuff...
